No One Logs Off
Good Morning.
Work follows people home.
Home follows people to work.
No one logs off. They just switch screens.
The modern problem isn’t long hours. It’s disappearing boundaries.
There used to be built-in transitions. A commute. A change of clothes. The simple act of leaving one environment and entering another. Those small rituals helped the brain mark an ending.
Now there is no clear break.
An email is answered from the couch. A message is read in bed. A Slack notification interrupts dinner. Even when the laptop is closed, the conversation continues internally.
The result isn’t always burnout. Just a constant low-level hum in the background.
It is hard to be present anywhere when part of you is still somewhere else.
Switching screens doesn’t mean you’ve changed gears. The brain still needs a moment to catch up. Close one loop before you open another.
Have a great weekend.

Final Note
This is what we leave you with. A thought to end the day, carry in your pocket, or come back to later. Nothing big. Just something to reflect on.

The Simple Question
The person who asks the simplest question usually saves everyone the most time.
Simple questions cut through assumptions. They bring the conversation back to what actually matters. Most confusion lasts longer than it should because no one asks the obvious thing.
Pass It On
Sometimes a thought, an idea, or a perspective lands at just the right time. If something here feels like it might resonate with someone you know, share it with them.
