Jim Valvano, a legendary college basketball coach, famously captured this spirit during his 1993 ESPYs speech while battling cancer. His powerful message, "Don’t give up. The ESPYs (Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly) is an annual awards show presented by ESPN to recognize individual and team athletic achievement and other sports-related performance during the previous year.
