What I’ve Learned About Living Well From My Future Self
Good morning, it’s Tuesday. Think of today as a blank canvas—add a little color, a bold stroke, and make it yours.
What I’ve Learned About Living Well From My Future Self
The other day, I found a letter addressed to me—from my future self. It wasn’t about regrets or missed opportunities, but about how to live well and take care of myself. Here’s what the letter said.
Dear Me,
Hey, it’s you—from a few years ahead. I wanted to take a moment to share what I’ve learned looking back at us. Don’t worry, you’re doing great, but there are a few small tweaks I’d love for you to consider.
First things first: move your body. It doesn’t have to be a marathon or an hour at the gym—just keep it simple. Stretch, dance, walk, or try that yoga class you’ve been thinking about. Trust me, the stronger and more flexible you feel, the more unstoppable you’ll become.
Oh, and about sleep—stop treating it like an optional extra. I know there’s always “one more thing” to do, but good rest is non-negotiable. When you get enough sleep, everything feels clearer, easier, and, well, better. It’s worth it, I promise.
Let’s talk about food for a second. It’s not about rules or guilt; it’s about giving your body what it needs. Load up on those greens, sprinkle some spices, and don’t forget to savor your meals. Eating well is an act of love for yourself—you’ll feel the difference.
One more thing: sunscreen. Every day. I can’t emphasize this enough. Future you is high-fiving you right now if you’ve already made it a habit. Your skin—and your confidence—will thank you.
But here’s the big one: don’t forget to laugh. Life can be messy, and stress will try to steal your joy, but don’t let it. Laugh loud and often, surround yourself with people who make you feel alive, and take deep breaths when things get overwhelming. Joy isn’t just something to hope for—it’s something you can create.
Lastly, be kind to yourself. You’re not going to get everything right, and that’s okay. The wrinkles, the stories, the wisdom—they’re all part of a life well-lived. Embrace them with grace.
Take care of us, okay? I’ve got big dreams for us, and I can’t wait to see how far we go.
With love and gratitude,
You, just a little older and a lot wiser
This is how we live our Worthyest life.

It started with a slice of pizza – and ended with a life saved. When Theo Alano discovered he was in end-stage kidney failure, hope seemed almost out of reach. But thanks to a heartfelt social media post and the support of his friend Mark Iacono, owner of Brooklyn’s famous Lucali pizzeria, a network of strangers rallied together. What happened next was a testament to the power of community, generosity, and, of course, a little help from New York’s pizza-loving spirit.
